Kiyomizu ware 清水焼 Vase signed by Goun 五雲 - Porcelain - Japan - Shōwa period (1926-1989) artist: Goun 五雲 the 3rd Born in 1957 at Sennyu-ji Temple in Higashiyama, Kyoto. After graduating from the Aesthetics and Arts Department of Doshisha University in 1980, entered the path of pottery under the guidance of his father, Masanori. Actively engaged in creating ceramics, focusing on items like flower vases and incense burners, and began pursuing his own sense of beauty. In 1991, received guidance from Professor Seitok Kawai, and exhibited in an art show, achieving his first selection. Since then, has received numerous awards and continues to create ceramic works at Goun Kiln, inherited from the previous generation.
