A large faceted crystal glass decanter finely engraved to every second facet with foliage and mounted with a silver collar heavily repoussed with foliage and scroll work The decanter and stopper both engraved with no. 5 to make the workers aware that these are made to fit each other Late 19th century, Germany Hallmarked to the top of the silver collar with crown and crescent for Germany and silver standard .830s Standing 28.5 cm tall and weighing 1436g Condition - Generally very good with minuscule signs of age related wear A small flea bite to the stopper and what appears to be a fracture internally at the top, this can however not be felt with the fingers and probably originates from the production Please see the photos This lot will be carefully packed and sent by registered and insured mail
