When the French soldiers were going to war they were buying one of these glass Walking sticks and were leaving it at home. This was hung in a visible location during the military service. This was meant to inform the visitors that in this house a man fought at the front. If the soldier returns from battle, the stick was kept as a memory of his serving. If the soldier died in the war the stick was being broken into small pieces and given to family and friends so they can keep him in their memories. The stick is in perfect condition, 93 cm long and with width from 1.5 to 3.5 cm towards the handle. It will be carefully packed and shipped via registered mail.
