This is an exceptional long table linen with a length of 3m60 and width of 2m20. These lengths are almost impossible to come by as they are now cut up into smaller lengths to fit a more accommodating table length and with the remnants napkins are made. I find it absolutely sacrilege ( violation of misuse) to ruin the French Patrimoine. Conditions to photograph this beautiful table linen were not optimal and ideal as there was too much sun filtrating into the property. The back ground is a leafy scroll design with stylistic borders on all 4 sides. The very large initials H.M. are embroidered in very high relief and stand out clearly from the linen and make a perfect statement. There are in fact two sets of initials with one set on either side of the table linen and that leaves the centre free to add your floral decorations and thus do not cover the initials.. Ideal for a table of at least 3 meters long and up to 3m50. PLEASE NOTE: Vintage linen have already known a first life and can therefore have slight traces of the past. We select the items in the best possible way, with love and dedication. Honest descriptions and images gives a real vision of the items. The linen that we offer for sale is not new linen, unless specifically mentioned, it is second-hand and old linen. As such it may have already been washed, used or even worn. In spite of the great care we take during the preparation, small imperfections can and may escape us. They do not in any way call into question the unique and rare character of these wonderful pieces. I present you our French Antique linen unwashed, as taken out of the armoire, unless otherwise described . It is all clean, but plan to give it a wash before use.
