This is a superb example of the large pendant necklaces from Chanel, and medieval references abound in the pendant. Against a background of a harbour with sailing boats stands a tree with a heraldic shield against it supported by a lion and a unicorn. CHANEL is written below the shield. Around the edge of the pendant is a stylised sunburst pattern. This beautiful and sophisticated pendant is hung from a goldtone chain with small oval links.
Total length of necklace is 29" (74cms), pendant is 2" in diameter (5cms).
There is a signed plaque on the reverse of the pendant and a signed hangtag attached to the chain. From 1990/91.
This striking necklace is in excellent condition.
