Clarendon 2012 10 years old Plantation - Barge 166 - Jamaica 2012 by TEAM DDC - 50 cl
This Rhum Plantation was aged on Barge 166, the very first floating cellar on the Seine. The aging casks were selected by Alexandre Gabriel of Maison Ferrand. First, 5 years of tropical ageing in Bourbon casks, followed by 5 years of continental ageing in Ferrand cognac casks. Finally, 9 month of ageing on a barge in new barrels.
Distilled at the Clarendon distillery.
Distillation: 100 %pot stills.
Raw materials : Molasses
Fermentation : 1 week
Volatile compounds: 223g/hL AA Esters: 68g/hL AA Dosage: 0 g/hL
Limited edition because a single barrel of 30L for a format of 50cl-54,6% per bottle, a total of only 58-60 bottles !
