Special features: Elmyr de Hory: Artist and Faker! Probably the world's best-known art forger until the emergence of Beltracchi. He transcended to international fame when Clifford Irving made a biographical story about him and Orson Welles made the documentary about his controversial and fascinating career, F for Fake (1973). At the end of his life he achieved what he was really looking for, social recognition of his talent, even if it was through the recreation of the styles of the greats and not his own. His reproductions have been exhibited worldwide and if Wikipedia is to be believed, even paintings by Elmyr de Hory have been forged. Today, de Hory's paintings are sold internationally at art auctions
