The Chichibu Paris Edition 2021 La Conquête is the fourth bottling in the series that the Japanese microdistillery Chichibu and La Maison du Whisky have dedicated to the French capital.
Malt whisky of the Concerto, Venture, Braemar, Tipple and Propino varieties, the 2021 edition is born from a selection of only eight barrels that have rested for over 7 years: a first fill ex-Bourbon peated, three Virgin Oak, a Port Pipe, a Red Wine cask and 2 Chibidaru Quarter Casks. From this marriage of barrels only 1847 bottles were born at 53.5%.
A complex whisky with strong flavors, slightly peated, vinous and dominated by a great concert of fruit.
