In addition to the Japanese word "tsuchi," the English word "hammer" is also commonly used. In carpentry, construction, machine shops, and civil engineering sites, various tools such as metal hammers and wooden mallets are used. They differ in shape and purpose, with various types such as "genno" (玄翁), "tonkachi," "naguri," "hammer," and "kakeya" (掛矢) There are signs of wear, rust, and damage due to age and use.
