A fine Ottoman Empire silver-metal ring. It presents a round raised bezel with a black hardstone intaglio showing a face in profile. The background is further enriched with three carved dots. The intaglio decoration served as a stamp or a seal, illustrating a protective symbol or the heraldry of the owner. The bezel collar features a decorative band of circular motifs. The ring shoulders are decorated with floral and heart-shaped motifs surrounded by granules. Good solid condition, wearable. Signs of wear consistent with age and use.
