This is a beautiful Kutani porcelain figure depicting a red fierce temple lion, known as "shishi 獅子," leaning against a playing ball called 'temari 手毬' with a detailed dragon motif. The piece features a rich polychrome glaze with gilded accents, showcasing fine craftsmanship.
The bottom of the figure bears a 3-character name seal, '須栄義.'
Good condition.
