Mahākāśyapa (Kāśyapa) was known for the sermon at Vulture Peak given by the Buddha at which occasion he said no words but only held up a flower. The Buddha recognized this and commended him for having reached the fourth level of Dhyana, a high level of virtue equal to his own.
