Bram Stoker - Dracula's Guest and Other Weird Stories - 1914

"Dracula's Guest and Other Weird Stories" by Bram Stoker - George Routledge, London - 1914 first UK edition, eight impression - 15cmx13cm - condition: good, original binding with some rubbing and wear to spine linings, some page foxing. Dracula's Guest and Other Weird Stories is a collection of short stories by Bram Stoker, first published in 1914, two years after Stoker's death, at the behest of his widow Florence Balcombe.[2] The same collection has been issued under short titles including simply Dracula's Guest. Meanwhile, collections published under longer titles contain different selections of stories. "Dracula's Guest" is a short story by Bram Stoker, first published in the short story collection Dracula's Guest and Other Weird Stories (1914). It is believed to have been intended as the first chapter for Stoker's 1897 novel Dracula, but was deleted prior to publication as the original publishers felt it was superfluous to the story.
