Up for auction is a nice EARLY copy of the United States Army Technical Manual TM 30-302 entitled "French Language Guide". It covers many useful French words and phrases as required for the D-day Invasion. This booklet has some black-and-white illustrations to accompany the instructional text; these booklets were issued to the troops just prior to the invasion of France during D-Day, to facilitate interrogation and communication of/between French resistance, French nationals, etc. Nicely used in the field but in good condition, see photo's as they are part of the description.
Nice official and rare!! USA Army language guide that will be a great piece for your WW2 collection!
