Founded in 1902 (Meiji 35) as Inaga Foundry, the first head of the family, Chuzaburo Hasegawa, was a pottery manufacturer who worked on Kinkasan lanterns.
Based on the 900-year-old traditional Yamagata casting technique, three generations, Masayama, Eku, and Masaya, have specialized in Sado and Italy.
By making full use of the casting method, finishing, and coloring techniques learned from the traditional techniques, the artist's originality and formability befitting the end of the Silk Road are achieved.
