Thomas Luny (1759 - 1837 ) was a British marine painter who painted seascapes and marine scenes of naval battles.
Most of his works were exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1780 to 1793.
This superb painting depicts an old moored vessel on the shore unloading its cargo.
Medium: Oil on panel.
Dimensions: Height 34 × width 24.5 cm.
With frame: H 43 × W 33 cm.
