This Chardonnay is a blend of grapes from three prestigious vineyards in the Uco Valley, all located at high altitudes: plots N° 32 and N° 51 of La Pampa estate at 1,250 masl and plot N° 5 of San Pablo estate at a staggering 1,500 masl in the San Pablo Geographical Indication, Mendoza, Argentina. The grapes for this Chardonnay were meticulously chosen to create a wine of exceptional quality. The resulting wine is a complex and expressive Chardonnay, with a nose of baked green apple, honey, marzipan, white jasmine, baking spices, and a hint of toast. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with a vibrant acidity that gives it a sustained freshness. It is especially expressive at the center of the palate, with richly defined fruit and a fragrant finish of ripe apple and honey. This is a truly limited edition wine, with only 180 cases produced. This particular case is number 098. The wines were aged for 10 months in French oak barrels, adding complexity and depth of flavor.
