Lamy Lady model 042 fountain pen. Fitted with a 14K solid gold nib in fine point. New Old Stock and in mint condition. The barrel of the “Lady” is made from Rosenthal porcelain. This model (042) features a wonderful wave design in black, white and gold, with matte gold fittings and cap. Designed by Wolfgang Fabian, this unusual pen was introduced by Lamy in the early 1990’s and then discontinued after only a few years. It remains a distinctive writing tool. LAMY Lady pens have unusual “feminine” styling, The usual cap pocket clip is gone, replaced with two little black buttons set into the side of the cap and into barrel. These stop the pen from rolling when placed on a flat surface. Comes in a deluxe Lamy gift box (not the original one), complete with Lamy converter. Will be shipped by registered and insured mail.
