This Ardbeg Anamorphic is multidimensional where the familiar salty nuances are mitigated, intensifying the hidden chocolatey sweetness and amplifying the coffee sensations, resulting in an extravagant Ardbeg, which almost seems to come from an alternative universe, notes of earth and dust are perceived, slightly biscuity on the nose, accompanied by clear but contained notes of soot, balanced by hints of silky vanilla. On the palate the warm spices precede an explosion of chilli chocolate, bitter-sweet mocha, briar wood, birch resin, ground black pepper and smoked artichokes, in the finish the rich smoky flavors return, in a final crescendo, with a persistent aftertaste of toasted bitter almonds and molasses
