Havepynt af en kran - Patineret bronze - Japan - Mid-Shôwa-perioden (midten af det 20. århundrede)
Large, charming garden ornament shaped like an elegant crane 鶴 (tsuru), crafted from dark green patinated bronze and refined detailing.
It stands tall, raising its head towards the sky as though it is calling out at this very moment.
Typically, these cranes are positioned near a pond or water feature, enhancing the charm of a Japanese garden alongside stone lanterns and possibly other stone garden ornaments. Of course, they also make an excellent standalone addition to any garden.
In Japan, the crane is one of the mystical or holy creatures and symbolizes good fortune and longevity because of its fabled life span of a thousand years.
In a good condition with a nice patina and some traces of use. The feet are detachable. One toe missing. Please see the photos as a reference to its condition.
We have included a similar separate foot, which the new owner could potentially use for restoration purposes.
