Veksler Abram Iosifovich (1910 - 1982) - Lenin and Stalin Carrying a Log at a Subbotnik in the Kremlin [cm 120x200]

Artist - Veksler Abram Iosifovich - "Lenin and Stalin Carrying a Log at a Subbotnik in the Kremlin." Soviet Socialist Realism. Featuring Lenin and Stalin. A "subbotnik" in the Soviet Union was a day of voluntary, unpaid labor, typically held on a Saturday. This practice was initiated after the October Revolution of 1917 and symbolized public enthusiasm and personal contribution to the development of the socialist state. People gathered to clean streets, plant trees, build or repair public buildings, and engage in other socially beneficial work. Subbotniks also fostered a sense of collectivism and team spirit. A.I. Veksler (1910 - 1982) was a Soviet painter and a member of the USSR Union of Artists. He studied at the Odessa Art Institute from 1931 to 1936 and pursued a career in easel painting. Veksler taught at the Kherson Art School between 1936 and 1940, and at the Odessa Art School from 1946 to 1955. He participated in Republican exhibitions starting in 1948 and in All-Union exhibitions from 1955. His major works include "A.S. Pushkin and A. Mitskevich" (1950), "To the Native Shores" (1957), "Odessa Port. The Whalers are Back" (1960), "Sparrows" (1964), and the triptych "Let's Not Forget" (1961-1965). Veksler's paintings are held in numerous public and private collections both in Ukraine and internationally. Dimensions: 200 x 120 cm. Material: Canvas, oil. The author's signature is present, as shown in the photographs. The painting is well preserved and is in good condition. Numerous photographs were provided to create the full experience. We have taken numerous photographs for your convenience. You can closely examine the condition of the painting from both the front and back sides. All necessary documents are prepared for shipping the painting to any country worldwide. Due to its large size, the painting will be sent rolled up without a stretcher (frame). It will be carefully packed using a makeshift roll made of plastic bottles, wrapped in foil, and securely sealed in a cardboard box. This packaging is indeed reliable. I assure you that once the auction concludes, the item will be meticulously packed and dispatched within 3 working days. The buyer will be provided with a tracking number for their convenience. Shipping from Ukraine may take between 15 to 45 days. #xxlart
