"Edo Meisho Zue" is a valuable book that conveys the landscapes and customs of Edo (now Tokyo) in the late Edo period. The series consists of 20 volumes across 7 books. This particular volume is the 18th of the series, found in Book 7, "Yokou no Bu".
It features famous sites including Tomioka Hachimangu, known as the greatest Hachiman shrine in Edo and still popular today, and the Edo Sanjusangendo, which was demolished in the Meiji era.
Preserved in the comprehensive database of classical Japanese works at Waseda University, the book is in good condition despite its age. There are no significant tears or damage from insects that would impair reading. However, some minor issues might have been overlooked, so please excuse any omissions.
