A lovely vintage 1970s Certina DS2 mens wristwatch in very nice condition. Certina is a brand with real history, and this DS-2 is an excellent example! The DS-2, introduced in 1968, featured a “turtle” case that protected the crown, which itself was double-sealed against water intrusion. These watches were equipped with Certina’s in-house manual-wind or automatic calibre 25. This particular DS-2 features the hand-wound calibre 25-661, which adds a date complication.
