Wooden Backgammon game box with checkerboard on one side and Nine Men’s Morris game on the other side. Box made of solid mahogany and other woods used for inlay. The box has been used/played with and shows wear and scratches but is in good condition. Containing a beautiful set of probably older (late Victorian or early Edwardian) games counters, for Checkers or Backgammon. The counters are quite large and measure 57mm in Diameter. The pieces are all complete with some traces of age but undamaged, beautiful woodturning craftsmanship in high quality Ebony and Boxwood. Including two dark Brown Tan Leather Stitched Dice Cups. no dices!
