This kind of big armors was not dressed by usual samurais, it was for daimyo like great lords, usually in this pelgrinage to Edo to pay their respects to the shogun Tokugawa once a year. The majority of armor parts are in very good condition and the fabrics are in good condition too. It is a beautiful and unusual armour and spectacular to look at with its beautiful oni maedate that will impress anyone who sees it. The armor is in good condition although it is a very old object it has normal damage. An authentic piece of samurai art that will delight any place where it is exhibited.
