Romersk antik Glas Unguentarium, 10,5 cm Unguentarium
A small ancient Roman glass unguentarium, featuring a rounded, globular body; a cylindrical neck, and a folded rim.
Unguentaria were amongst the most common objects of Roman blown glass: produced in large numbers, they were items of every day use for keeping expensive unguents and cosmetic oils.
*Earthy patina
Provenance: Purchased at auction at L.F. maison de ventes, France, April 2024. Expertise carried out by Mr. Antoine Tarantino, France, Paris.
