Unique and rare collector’s item: Original 1980s LE CLIP SWISS XXL Large wall clock. In the 1980s, Le Clip watches were produced, very popular. In a follow-up on this, several other limited edition wall clocks were designed. They were designed in 1986 by artist Rolf Knie. TYPE: Original XXL LE CLIP SWISS “MEGA” wall clock, made in Switzerland. DESIGN: 1986 by Rolf Knie, Swiss artist. STYLE: Bauhaus Technique: Precision “Scholer” quartz clock, made in Switzerland. Works on 1 x AA battery. Setting the clock is located next to the battery. Made of black plastic, Bauhaus style. Dial is protected by acrylic glass / plexiglass. Size ca. 50x30x23cm hxwxd. Can be used in many ways: On the inside is a metal spring, allowing you to clamp it around a tube or pipe. On the backside are openings for wall mounting. Can of course also simply be placed on, for example, a dresser. Or can be laid down on for example a desk, so the boxes can be used as well. The timepiece can be rotatable in your desired direction.
