Beautiful, vintage mannequin from the eighties by the renowned brand Adel Rootstein. This is the X3 from the Adel Rootstein Classics series, based on model Kim Harris, a model from the 1980s. With the original layer of make-up it is a characterful and by now rare lady. This mannequin has been used in the 1980s at Peek & Cloppenburg in Rotterdam and has suffered some damage (see photos) during that period. At the upper part of her left arm is a crack, this is taped over with brown packing tape, of which the remains are still visible. With some patience this can easily be removed. Her face is in a good condition, including eyelashes. The original mannequin turned out to have her left hand in a fist and no open hand, I only realised this however after making the photos. You get the mannequin with all original parts, thus with a fist as left hand (fig. 21-22). The length is about 178 cm. The last pictures shows the same model in new condition. Delivered without bottom plate! A beautiful eye catcher for your home or showroom. Due to the size, weight and fragility of the lot, collection in Utrecht (NL) is preferred.
