Rare Standard teak ship's compass marine created by: "nunotani keiki seisakusho ltd" (binnacle compass navy on the side are the compensation bulbs (green and red = port and starboard) these are mounted on heavy brass mounts can be moved or removed by means of a nut. Teak base with heavy brass foot and round copper hood underneath which the compass is located. In the teak base are various doors and lids to operate and set up the compass , under the brass hood are the compass and a lamp (operation lamp unknown). The compass is made by: "Nunotani Keiki Seisakusho ltd", information about this well known company one can find on the internet. Origin: Japan (for European market) Year: 1961 Serial no.: 4352 total weight: 145 kg, keep this in mind size: width with compensation supports 80 cm x 134 cm high x 37 cm diameter of the teak base The compass is in used condition but despite its age it still looks good.
