Henri Gervese (Charles Millot), "nos marins" series (our sailors), 63 old postcards (circa 1907-1950?)

Nice collection of 63 postcards signed H. Gervèse (pseudonym of Charles Millot 1880-1959). Series: "Nos marins" and some postcards from "série de guerre" (war series) and from "les baux motifs" (beautiful patterns). Only 4 postcards travelled (1912, 1913 and 1919). Henri Millot produced very many postcards that have been edited and re-edited, which makes it difficult to difficult to ascertain their age. Some circulated in 1912/13, which provides a date and proves their authenticity. The various postcards backsides have been digitized, the oldest ones were published in Cherbourg and then in Toulon and finally by "l'association des amis des musées de la marine" (two periods can be identified thanks to the phone number, one circa 1950, the other one is most recent). If some cards are impeccable, some other ones are damaged and should be considered as documents (see scans). - 5 postcards (3,6,7,9,10) published by Choubrac, Cherboug. - 31 postcards published by Raffaelli, Toulon (from 19 to 59, many lacks). - 4 postcards (27, 42, 43, 44) with ship's anchor on the back (no publisher). - 6 old postcards (l'association des amis des musées de la marine): 51, 56, 60, 75, 79, 80. - 7 old postcards "les beaux motifs" (l'association des amis des musées de la marine): 81, 82, 86, 89, 90, 93, 95. - 6 postcards "série de guerre" published by Raffaelli: 61, 62, 64, 66, 69, 70. - 3 postcards "Nos marins"; Recent edition: 52, 57, 58. In addition, an isolated postcard without number (Published by Raffaelli). Total weight of the 63 papostcards: 200 grams. Shipping by post with tracking. All the postcards have been scanned, look at the scans to judge the condition of the cards.
