This artwork was once purchased at a yard sale in England, painted is allegedly John Scott, dates to late 19th / early 20th century. However, I lack the evidence to support this, and I’m no expert. A beautiful painting in very good condition. The colours still look nice and have been put on the canvas with great detail. At the time, the artwork has been re-lined and framed into a solid wooden, gold-colour ornamented frame. The frame has slight signs of wear and age, nothing bothersome. Size of work 60 x 90 cm, including frame 80 x 110 cm. Pick-up is preferred due to its size and vulnerability.
