Vintage Rare 1960/70s Large Bibendum Michelin Man 18.5" repurposed into a lamp
Genuine and Rare 1960/1970s Bibendum Michelin Man Profesinally Repurposed into a lamp.
Bibendum is in very good condition, very clean for its age! No modification in to Michelin Man - still can be use as a Truck/Lorry Mascot.
The Lamp stand is brand new, with chromed base and shaft - "Magic Touch" System, just touch base or rod to "turn on" or "turn off" the lamp (it comes with a 28W bulb) english socket. The bracket was professionally hand made from perspex/polycarbonate.
The foot is stamped "made in France".
It's amazing combination of Vintage item and modern technology!
Bibendum Michelin Man were produced in the 60's and 70's, and were bolted to the roof of lorries and trucks.
Bibendum Michelin Man measure 18.5" - 47cm and total height from the lamp base up to top of the head: 21.5" - 55cm.
Perfect condition - Michelin Man has some small marks of use but do NOT have any cracks or chips!
