Pair of wall plates in biscuit Schafer und Vater green background, circa 1890. Serial number of the models: 6479 A et 6479 1B These plates represent an couple of elephants in an ancient decoration: a man facing left, holding his walking stick and his hat in his hand and a woman facing right, holding a Greyhound. The two plates are lined with asymmetrical rocaille volutes of Louis XV inspiration. Hooks of origin. The décor is very neat and finely chiselled, because they are biscuits of the nineteenth. The total height of the plates is 19 cm (= approximately 7 "1/2") The width is 7.5 cm approx. to the widest (= 3 ") Weight without packaging: approx. 230 grams for the pair.
