Feuerschutzpolizei tunic in a dark blue wool, single-breasted, four-pocket tunic, with eight aluminium front pebble pattern buttons, and carmine piping to the collar and 8cm cuffs. It bears Police-pattern collar mirrors and shoulder epaulettes of a Wachtmeister on carmine underlay. The right arm sleeve bears the Feuerschutzpolizei Ärmelabzeichen (badge). Interior of tunic in good order and still has the bandage pocket present, as are the belt hooks.Chest size 40". Second item on offer in this lot is a Civic M34 "square dip" style helmet with original black satin finish paint and original police eagle decal on the left. Salt & pepper ventilation holes on each side of the crown. The helmet has a M31 civic style, light tan leather liner. Liner is complete. Original chinstrap is complete but fragile. The five leather tabs for the leather neck skirt are still attached. Size 58 is marked inside the helmet and there is a name on the liner Horst Bahr . the helmet does have some chipping to the paint and decal due to it's age. Altogether this is an interesting and historical lot for collectors of Fire Service or Third Reich period.
