It has been purchased at 3 different times in the first half of 20th century and shows tiny differences in the decoration. The basic set, including spoons, forks and knives plus ladle and 2 salad servers, is from the early 20th century. The pieces are marked with the silver title 800 and Silversmith hallmark G.Bi Marzo, probably in Palermo. The teaspoons, instead, bear the hallmark of the goldsmith Torrasi Francesco 48PA (Palermo), active since 1948. The carving pieces are made in Germany in the early 20th century, and show 2 marks, silver title mark 800, and a half moon with a crown.
