A design icon by Reinhold Weiss and Hartwig Kahlcke for Braun, the coffee mill KMM 10. The increased demand for larger coffee grinders was ignited by the just released KF 20 coffee machine; people started to consume more coffee and the update of the KMM 1 to the KMM 10 coffee mill was characterised by the higher-capacity funnel. New technology was also applied by using timer so that the need for the user to stay close to the mill was eliminated as it did its work by itself. Examples of designs by Weiss are adopted in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art, Indianapolis Museum of Art and the Israel Museum. The here offered mill is in perfect condition and works just like new, in the rare and beautiful orange colour. Interesting for the connoisseur is that it also has a mocha setting, apart from the very practical timer.
