Beautiful bright vintage ornate teapot by sadler ( Staffordshire, England) Depicting battle of Waterloo 1815 and soldiers in uniform.. In very good condition stored out of sunlight with good strong colours. On base numbered 4441. It depicts the Captain of The 3rd Foot Guards, The Sergeant of the 1st Foot Guards, The Sergeant of The Coldstream Guards, Private of the Black Watch Regiment and The Duke of Wellington. The Porcelain is white with gold coloured detailing around rim and handle. No chips, no cracks, no crackled glaze nor signs of restoration. The top rim is very unusual. Unused condition merely stored. The lid fits perfectly and has emblazoned on it the battle scene and words 'The Battle of Waterloo' . The base stamp is clear and strong in colour.
