A beautiful manual sewing machine of presumably "Adam Opel". The machine is manufactured in Germany. The production number is 632997. The machine is produced in circa 1890. The machine is a luxury model with lots of inlaid mother-of-pearl and a white porcelain handle. It is particularly beautifully decorated including many colourful ornaments and gold-coloured edges. It is equipped with a shuttle, and has a storage box with slide. It also has a beautiful wood inlaid measuring stick. The machine has a beautiful mahogany dust cover with silver-coloured ornaments on the long sides and wood carving on the corners. There is a beautiful lock plate, but the lock is missing and the handle is not original. The dimensions are l x w x h = 48x24x24 cm and 48x24x29 cm including dust cover. The weight is approx. 13 kg.
