Very nice ornamental vase with two handles with a ceremonial portrait of Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier of Monaco. The fairytale wedding of the film diva who married a prince was world news at the time. They married in 1956 and had 3 children. Presently, the oldest son Albert sits on the throne. Princess Grace died in a car accident. Prince Rainier has now also died. The vase is finished with gold-coloured accents. On the front is the ceremonial portrait of the couple with above it a crown and at the bottom of the title "Principauté de Monaco". Lacroix L. was probably the creator of the portrait.
