A beautiful Parisian silver and crystal claret jug/decanter. Very decorative silver neck and handle of which is stamped with the head of Minerve 1st title of which indicates silver fineness 950/1000. The base also has a lovely decoration albeit simpler. This is also stamped with the head of Minerve along with the makers mark. It is also stamped with another maker although this is rubbed so not sure who and is marked Paris underneath. The base does have an indent as shown in the photo, this most probably could be pressed out by someone with the know how. it does not detract from its beauty. The crystal and silver remain in excellent condition other than already stated. The crystal requires a light clean. Gross weight 640g. Measuring 25.5cm high base to the top of the spout. 26cm high to the top of the handle. The crystal body measures approximately 12.5cm wide.
