The Metal Cars are produced by Porsche AG to celebrate the introduction of a new model or model variation. Porsche importers worldwide are offered the Metal Cars with the sole purpose of giving them as a gift to (potential) customers of the actual Porsche model. Importers themselves decide the number of Metal Cars they require and therefore the total number produced. The Metal Cars are never offered for sale via the official Porsche retail channels. The number of an individual Metal Car is strongly related to the exclusivity of the actual Porsche model. The more exclusive the model, the more exclusive the Metal Car. They are not offered on the market often. Each produced metal car is a Limited Edition, which is also written on the bottom. This makes it a true collector’s item! The Porsche Metal Cars are made out of 1 massive block of metal. They are also called or used as ‘presse papier’. The scale is 1:43. This specific model car is the very exclusive 911 (991.2) GT2 RS in high gloss polished silver finish. It has an adjustable rear wing (with screws). Original box is missing.
