This violin bow is made of pernambuco wood. Has a octagonal stick. The stick is impressed "Mathias Thoma" and then has an impression of an asterisk next to the name. No cracks, splits or missing pieces to the ebony, mother of pearl or other materials. The bow has no cracks, splits or repairs to the wood that we can see to report to you. The bow still has a great finish on it. Good camber. Strong flex to the shaft and we can ascertain no warping, splits or repairs to report to you. The bow has a silver wire wrapping. Very nicely made adjusting screw. Beautiful tip on this violin bow as well. There is only 50% horse hair on the bow. The pearl inlays are in place on the sides of the frog and along the bottom.
