A beautiful rare hand-operated sewing machine from Frister & Rossmann, the type with shuttle reel from around 1913.
It was produced in Germany in Berlin and the production number is 1419258.
The machine is painted black and very richly decorated with, among other things, gold-coloured edges in Art Deco style.
There are 2 rare and beautiful images including representing Cleopatra, who smells a lotus flower.
There is also a beautiful gold-coloured factory logo with the inscription "Actien Geselschaft Frister & Rossmann Berlin".
The profiled nickel front cover has a beautiful decoration in art deco style as well as the round maintenance cover, which is decorated with the beautiful letters F & R.
The handle is made of white porcelain and there is a nice storage compartment.
The machine includes the corresponding flying shuttle.
On the wooden base there is a size distribution piece of finely inlaid wood.
Unfortunately, the dust cover is missing.
The dimensions are l x w x h = 50x27x28 cm.
The weight is 12 kg.
The sewing machine will be packaged with care and shipped, but it can also be picked up in Haarlem.
