Free standing so-called “notary” clock in black marble streaked with green.
Looks great from the front and the sides.
A marble plate is missing on the back.
The door in the back is difficult to close.
The clock face glass is bevelled and intact.
The lower glass is also bevelled. There are two chips on one corner and on one edge.
Vincenti movement, silver medal in 1855, with Brocot escapement.
It is clean.
It has not been used in at least 25 years: when you start it up it only works for a few minutes.
It rings every half hour.
It needs to be restored.
Slight signs of wear on the clock face (see photo).
Comes complete with its 31 cm long brass pendulum and its winding key and bell.
This parcel will be very carefully packaged in a double-corrugated cardboard box with bubble wrap and newspaper. Shipped with insurance.
