Tracked international parcel
Sometimes, the artist draws a sign or figure on the edge of the lithography stone or plate to test the acid’s behavior. This sign is usually destroyed before printing, but sometimes this detail remains, not only on the test print but on the whole print series. The above mentioned sign is a typical case.
