Coffee table, stained wooden frame with a table top made of individually decorated earthenware tiles, design by Roger Capron (1922-2006), made by Atelier Capron, Vallauris / France, circa 1965. The tiles were made by stamping it with a leaf or other natural foliage that burns away in the kiln, leaving its imprint. Each tile is thus unique. The wooden structure is original thanks to its double legs, its X-shaped spacer and its circular top. The signature “Capron Vallauris France” is visible on the board. Excellent state: no cracks or chips in the tiles, very sturdy structure. The only signs of age are scratches on the varnish at the bottom of the table legs (see last 4 pictures) Dimensions: table top diameter: 95 cm diameter with legs: 105 cm height: 33 cm The table cannot be send, it must be picked up.
