Nanna Ditzel - Fredericia - Barhocker (2) - model 3300, serie 1198

Trinidad Barstool 3300 by Nanna Ditzel Fredericia - Nanna Ditzel model 3300 series 1198 Dimensions; W45 X D50 X H112.5 X SH77 CM Trinidad Barstool 3300 by Nanna Ditzel - Barstool by Fredericia Furniture The 'Trinidad' chair, designed by the Danish Nanna Ditzel, is a postmodern milestone in Danish design history. He revolutionized the minimalist thinking that was a trend among most furniture designers in the 1990s. The chair takes both its inspiration and its name from the Victorian facades on the island of Trinidad, which were made using the so-called "gingerbread" technique. The elegance of the facades and the play with the sunlight formed the basis for the iconic design of the chair, which today can be found in some of the world's largest museums and most luxurious homes. The chair is constructed with a seat that carries the character of the chair in the form of the milled "gingerbread shapes", made using a CNC milling technology that was a revelation for furniture architecture at the time. Just like the facades of the buildings in Trinidad, the chair provokes a play of light and shadow that changes character depending on the viewer's angle. While the unique cut-outs were the focus of the design, Nanna Ditzel made no compromises on comfort. The shell has the shape of a rounded cone that embraces the natural curves of the body, creating a formidable seating experience that adapts not only to the space but also to the person. In the 3300 and 3400 models, the chair is complimented with a high frame that takes the chair to a new level, ideal for the kitchen island, bar or high desk.
