A complete set of Damask linen napkins. I have nor seen this particular Napoleon 111 design before and I am almost certain they date from the latter part of the 30th Century and at about 1870. The red batten design is particular from that period. And my take is that the initials G.R. are added at a much later date and maybe as recent as 1950. They are hand embroidered in a different colour.
