Almost a complete set of cotton napkins with initials W.D. The back ground of the cotton fabric are small oval dots and framed with 6 lines on all 4 sides in which there is another line of the oval dots. The strength lies in the embroidered initials W.D. and are achieved at very high relief and it is interesting to see how they stand out and are obviously clearly visible. They have not been used much and have the air of almost being new old. They have been for most of the time in the trousseaux ( dowry ) armoire. They do not in any way call into question the unique and rare character of these wonderful pieces. I present you our Antique linen unwashed, as taken out of the armoire, unless otherwise described .
