Refined and elegant, this 100-year-old Hakushu Peated Malt brings a less strong smoke that is never dominant in a more complex and gentle Japanese style. The result is a spicy, peppery welcome and a slow cloud of smoke that deepens to reveal its herbaceous notes and green fruit nuances with hints of grapefruit and the sweet note of acacia honey.
